Der US-amerikanische Nationalpark Shenandoah-Nationalpark umfasst ca. 800 km² der Blue Ridge Mountains in den südlichen Appalachen in der Piedmond Region in Virginia. Der Park ist lang und schmal, mit einem breiten Tal auf jeder Seite. Die höchsten Erhebungen, Stony Man und Hawksbill, sind über 1200 Meter hoch.
Der Skyline Drive und der Blue Ridge Parkway sind die berühmtesten Straßen im Park. Der Skyline Drive führt 169 km entlang des Höhenzuges durch den gesamten Park. 160 km führt ebenfalls der Appalachian Trail durch den Park. Insgesamt gibt es rund 800 Kilometer an Wanderwegen im Park. Es gibt die Möglichkeit, Ausritte mit Pferden zu machen, zu campen, Rad zu fahren und die zehn Wasserfälle zu besuchen.

Shenandoah National Park encompasses part of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the U.S. state of Virginia. This national park is long and narrow, with the broad Shenandoah River and valley on the west side, and the rolling hills of the Virginia Piedmont on the east.
The park passes through parts of eight counties. On the west side of Skyline Drive they are, from northeast to southwest, Warren, Page, Rockingham, and Augusta counties. On the east side of Skyline Drive they are Rappahannock, Madison, Greene, and Albemarle counties. It stretches for 105 miles (169 km) along Skyline Drive from near the town of Front Royal in the northeast to near the city of Waynesboro in the southwest.
